Jimmy John’s is coming to west Olympia.
The popular sandwich franchise is slated for 1200 Cooper Point Road, Suite 400, in the same strip mall as Sports Authority and Staples. According to an ad on Craigslist, the location will host job interviews, including delivery positions, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 6).
The managers at the new franchise are currently training at the Jimmy John’s at 4530 Martin Way East. That location is the first Jimmy John’s in Thurston County, but is unaffiliated with the new franchise in west Olympia, according to Ryan Wildy, co-owner of the Martin Way store.
Founded in 1983, the Jimmy John’s chain is based in Champaign, Illinois, and has more than 1,900 restaurants across the country, according to the company website.
The Olympian is trying to confirm an opening date. This story will be updated when more information is available.
