A certified nursing assistant’s credentials were suspended after he allegedly touched a vulnerable adult’s breast at Panorama retirement community in Lacey.
The state’s Nursing Assistant Program has charged Lenell David Washington with unprofessional conduct.
According to the state Department of Health, Washington allegedly touched a vulnerable patient’s breast outside her clothing and pinched her nipple, then told her not to report the incident. The date of the incident and the patient’s age were not available.
Washington was employed at the Panorama retirement community, 1751 Circle Lane SE, Lacey. He was notified of the charges Dec. 9, but had not responded to the charges by the Dec. 29 deadline, according to documents on the health department website.
Washington’s credentials have been suspended for five years, according to documents. He is required to undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation before petitioning for reinstatement. He was first certified by the state in 1995.
