The Albertsons store in Olympia at Pacific Avenue and Lilly Road is set to become a Haggen in March, the Bellingham-based company announced in a news release on Wednesday.
The store is at 3520 Pacific Ave. SE.
The Olympia store is one of 146 stores in five states that Haggen acquired, following a Federal Trade Commission review of the recently completed merger between Albertsons LLC and Safeway.
Under the settlement, the divestitures to Haggen must be completed within 120 days from the purchase of the first store. That is set to happen in Monroe, Wash., at 12:01 a.m. Thursday.
Here is the calendar of store conversions:
-Twenty-six stores in Washington state will change to Haggen in February, March and June.
-Eighty-three stores in California will change from March to May.
-Twenty Oregon stores will change in March, April and May.
-Remaining stores in Nevada and Arizona will change in late spring.
