The owner of a massage and hypnotherapy practice in Olympia has been charged with unprofessional conduct by the state Department of Health.
The department reports that Andrew S. Goodwin has admitted to rubbing a client’s breasts and pinching her during an appointment in July 2014.
The department reports that during the massage, Goodwin “bumped” the draping to expose the client’s nude body, and at one point the client had to reach for the drape to cover her pelvic area.
After the massage, Goodwin told the client that he made a mistake and thought she had wanted to “fool around.” He also asked her not to report the matter to the health department.
Never miss a local story.
Goodwin’s business is located at 1107 Eastside St. SE. An online announcement indicates that the business is closing March 15.
