Four public workshops are set for next week to help shape a new form-based code for the city’s Woodland District, a key area of the city that officials want to turn into a true mixed-use destination, akin to a downtown.
Lacey’s Woodland District is between the Chehalis-Western Trail, Interstate 5, College Street and Pacific Avenue.
The new code will incorporate building form standards, street standards and other use regulations, according to a news release.
