The Thurston Economic Development Council has announced the finalists for its business recognition awards.
Here are the 12 finalists, separated into four categories:
New business: Top Rung Brewing Co.; Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes; Espresso Parts.
Small business: Steamboat Animal Hospital; Dirty Dave’s Pizza Parlor; Phillips Burgess PLLC.
Corporate employer: Nisqually Red Wind Casino; Kidder Mathews; Alaffia.
Nonprofit organization: Family Education and Support Services; Friendship Diversion Services; South Sound Reading Foundation.
Winners in each category are set to be announced during a luncheon on April 9 at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW.
