Those interested in applying to fill the vacancy on the Port of Olympia commission can find application materials on the port’s website.
Applicants must submit a completed application form, cover letter, and resume and answer four supplemental questions. All of that is due to the port by 5 p.m. May 8. The port expects to fill the vacancy by June 8.
The appointee will fill the seat left vacant by former District 3 commissioner Sue Gunn, who resigned April 1, after open-heart surgery. The appointed commissioner will have the job until the general election is certified on Nov. 24.
