Craft and home decor retailer Hobby Lobby is set to open its Olympia store in early September, the company announced Tuesday.
The 55,000-square-foot store, which was once occupied by Kmart, will create 35 to 50 jobs. Full-time workers will be paid $15.24 per hour and part-time help $10.16 per hour, according to a news release.
The store at 4141 Martin Way E. will be the 13th Hobby Lobby store in the state.
Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. is headquartered in Oklahoma City.
