A Thurston County home was severely damaged by fire early Tuesday.
Four fire departments responded to the fire about 3:45 a.m. in the 8200 block of 59th Court Southeast near Lacey, said Lacey Fire Chief Steve Brooks.
The cause is undetermined and there were no injuries.
The fire started on the front porch and extended inside the residence, Brooks said.

Three people inside were awakened by the smell of smoke and fire detectors sounding throughout the house.
Lacey, East Olympia, Olympia and South Bay fire departments responded to the call and contained it after 15 minutes.
One vehicle parked next to the porch was damaged, but surrounding residences were not damaged.
There will be salvageable items for the family, Brooks said.
