Two Level 2 sex offenders have registered to live as transients in Thurston County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Birney R. Clark, 60, pleaded guilty in Santa Clara Juvenile Court in 1976 to two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He was sentenced to a juvenile facility for an unknown amount of time for sexually assaulting four 13- and 14-year-old males when he was 18.
Clark is described as a 5-foot-7, 220-pound white male with gray hair and hazel eyes.
Lawrence A. Lekanoff, 47, pleaded no contest and was found guilty in the Superior Court for the state of Alaska at Anchorage in 1996 for one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with four suspended, for sexually assaulting two unknown females of 4 and 6 years old when he was 24.
Lekanoff is described as a 5-foot-6, 150-pound American Indian male with gray hair and hazel or brown eyes.
