A 23-year-old woman reported missing by her parents this month was arrested by Olympia police early Wednesday morning at Olympia Avenue and Washington Street, according to jail booking information.
Family members of Julia Bonsell of Rochester had distributed missing-person posters around Thurston County stating that she last had been seen Jan. 3. Her vehicle was recovered in Tumwater.
Tumwater police had said Bonsell had a warrant for her arrest. Thurston County court officials issued the warrant Dec. 17, after she failed to show up for a “show cause/payment review hearing” on that date, court papers state.
Bonsell was sentenced Jan. 20, 2010, to six months in jail after pleading guilty to two counts of conspiracy to deliver heroin, court papers state. In November 2009, she twice sold heroin to a confidential informant at the apartment she shared with her boyfriend in downtown Olympia, records show.
