A 38-year-old mother of two with South Sound ties has been missing since Thursday, and police say they have exhausted their leads.
Jennifer Huston, a resident of Dundee, Oregon, grew up in Tacoma and Gig Harbor and graduated from Gig Harbor High School, said her husband, Kallen Huston on Sunday.
His wife was last seen purchasing gas at a 76 station in Newberg, Oregon. The Oregonian reported that Newberg-Dundee police Capt. Jeff Kosmicki said surveillance video showed Huston buying gas around 6:10 p.m. Thursday for her dark green Lexus LX-470. She appeared to be alone.
Kallen Huston said he’s from Lakewood, and the that couple had lived there and in DuPont before moving to Oregon about eight years ago.
“We still have a lot of ties to Gig Harbor,” he said. “She still has friends that live there, and friends’ parents that live there.”
Kosmicki said police had exhausted all leads. The family created a Facebook page to share photographs and information.
According to a family flier, Huston was last seen wearing black-and-pink Nike shoes and yoga pants. She is 5-foot-7 and has blond shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
“Anybody and everybody that knows her truly feels that this is way, way out of character,” Kallen Huston said. “This is very, very unlike her.”
The couple’s sons are ages 2 and 6, he said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
