A Thurston County judge issued a warrant Tuesday for a woman accused of threatening a west Olympia Burger King employee with a knife.
Kellie M. Trent, 42, of Olympia, was arrested by Olympia police on May 30, and later released from the Thurston County Jail on $2,500 bail. She is charged with second-degree assault and was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Thurston County Superior Court.
When Trent failed to appear in court, Judge Anne Hirsch issued a warrant for her arrest.
According to court documents, Trent is accused of threatening the employee when she was asked to leave at closing time.
Burger King employees told police that Trent had been sitting on the front steps of the restaurant, drinking from a bottle of alcohol as they prepared to close. Employees asked her to leave several times before calling 911 for assistance.
