Don Brannam, the superintendent of the Griffin and Grapeview school districts, is one of three finalists to lead Warrenton-Hammond schools in Oregon, according to The Daily Astorian.
He has been invited to visit the school district and attend an open house next week; the Warrenton-Hammond School Board expects to announce its selection March 8, the newspaper reported.
Brannam was hired by the 670-student Griffin School District, in the Steamboat Island area, in June 2003. Before that, he was an administrator in the Anacortes School District.
In 2009, Brannam took a reduction in contract at Griffin and began working part time for the 220-student Grapeview School District in Mason County.
