Republican U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler is bringing staffers to Olympia on Wednesday for what the 3rd District lawmaker calls "mobile office hours."
The freshman lawmaker’s staff will be available from 3-6 p.m. at the Thurston Regional Planning Council’s office at 2424 Heritage Court S.W., Room B, on Olympia’s west side.
Thurston County Democrats complained recently that Herrera won’t open an Olympia-area office as her predecessors had done for at least four decades. The sprawling 3rd District covers southwest Washington from Olympia to Vancouver and from the Cascades to the Pacific.
Herrera’s staffers say they also held mobile office hours March 3 at the Olympia library.
