The House Business and Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 5996, to create licensing rules for online learning of cosmetology and barbering. The hearing on the bill sponsored by Sen. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard, is set for 9:30 a.m. in Room D of the O’Brien Building.

The House Higher Education Committee is scheduled to hold a work session on campus security, student debt and mental health services on college campuses. The committee meets at 8 a.m. in Hearing Room A of the O’Brien Building.

A work session will be in the House Public Safety Committee at 8:30 a.m. to hear about ensuring successful re-entry of ex-offenders into society while reducing recidivism. The hearing will take place in Room B of the O’Brien Building.
