The Thurston County Auditor's Office reminds voters to return ballots for the upcoming special election by Tuesday. Those mailing their ballots should allow extra time so the ballots are postmarked by Election Day.
To avoid a late postmark, Auditor Kim Wyman suggests voters use one of the 25 drop boxes throughout Thurston County. A list of the drop boxes is included with ballot materials; they are open 24 hours a day and close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Voters can get replacement ballots or use the AutoMARK voting machine for those who need assistance at the Thurston County Courthouse, 2000 Lakeridge Drive S.W., Building 1, Olympia. On Election Day, the courthouse will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
