Puyallup mom could be charged for leaving baby alone
The Associated Press
PUYALLUP, Wash. — Prosecutors are deciding whether to charge a Puyallup woman who had left her baby alone in her apartment when it caught fire.
The 23-year-old woman says she went out Wednesday for fast food and returned to see firefighters rescue the boy. He's OK and has been returned to the mother.
The fire was started by discarded smoking material.
