Donald Trump finished second to Ted Cruz in this week’s Iowa caucuses, and finishing No. 2 is what losers do in Trump World. That leaves Cruz and Trump, the candidates most feared by establishment Republicans, ahead of No. 3 Marco Rubio, whom mainstream Republicans hope can gain more ground in Tuesday’s first-in-nation presidential primary in New Hampshire. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton avoided a repeat of her 2008 loss to Barack Obama in Iowa. She nosed out insurgent Bernie Sanders. Sanders, the Democratic socialist, has been winning the youth vote big-time, turning out huge grassroots crowds, and keeping pace raising large sums of money in small donations as he’s slowed Clinton’s march for the nomination. Next stop, New Hampshire. Onward!
