Our family for one is thankful for Obamacare.
Without it, our son would face crushing heath care bills once he has surgery to correct a potentially lethal, inherited health condition.
You see, he is an adult, who would be dropped from our health plan when he completes college next quarter. But Obamacare allows him to remain on our health plan until age 26.
Without Obamacare, he would have faced a lifetime of uncertainty, as medical insurers would weasel out of covering him because of his pre-existing condition. But they can no longer do that because of Obamacare.
I am enraged that elected politicians like Rob McKenna would fight against the interests of the working people in Washington by challenging Obamacare.
McKenna is wasting our squeezed state budget to pursue legal action against the program, but then again, he and his family have taxpayer-subsidized health care.
