I have a little suggestion that might not go over very well, but here it is: Close Yelm Highway.
Just do it already and safely finish this monstrosity of a construction job between Boulevard Road and Henderson Boulevard.
I am truly sympathetic toward my fellow commuters who have no other choice but to take this route and then have to stop, wait and idle — at $4.03 per gallon for regular gasoline — through 5 minute to 25 minute intervals, only to be late to day care, school, work, etc., in the process.
Trust me for I, too, am a victim.
Don’t get me wrong, I give my kudos to the man for keeping traffic moving right through the middle of the construction site, but I seriously think this particular arrangement is not working.
Trust me people, for I, too, am a victim.
