It is time to stop snickering about the lack of backbone of the French people. After the massacre at Charlie Hebdos, 1.3 million people turned out to protest this terrible act of violence. We should admire how they handled the situation with dignity and restrain!
Now lets look at America. One person gets killed and a relatively small mob turns to burning, destroying and looting. Have these “protesters” ever considered that the business they destroyed may have provided a job to someone in their circle of friends? That the car they burned may have been the lifeline to a job for a single mother? That they hurt people who were not involved in the shooting.? Of course not!
They didn’t care about the dead kid or anyone else! They cared only about what they could get out of it for themselves. It wasn’t about justice for the dead boy. Recently an unarmed white man was shot by police while sitting in the backseat of a car. It hardly made the news. There were no cries of injustice, police brutality or protest for the white guy. Don’t all lives matter whatever their color, whatever their age?
We can learn from the French people and give them our respect!
