I grew up in Washington, and am fortunate in saying that I spent my childhood playing, hiking, and camping in the woods of the Northwest. I understand what a treasure LBA Park is. This amazing forest offers oxygen, hiking trails, and nature at its best. It needs to be preserved for the present and for future generations. This incredible nature experience right in the city is irreplaceable. It is time that this generation of adults moves forward in the preservation of LBA woods. I have been a resident of Olympia for 40 years and I vote. I will gladly pay the taxes necessary for the city’s acquisition of LBA woods. The health, sanity, and peace of mind of our citizens call for this investment.
