Thank you for printing the article “Florist rejects offer” in The Olympian. It is interesting that this florist seems to have no rights on how to run her business, yet the homosexual couple have all of the rights they want to do business with whomever they want. The attorney general not only sued the owner about the case, but has reached after all of her personal assets too, home, retirement and all that she has. Is there any real justice?
Now the AG is willing to settle for a $2,000 fine and $1 for legal fees. Does he conclude that he has a bad case, even though this judge has ruled in his favor, so he is willing to settle for so little, or is he really wanting out because of the bad press that he is getting for going against this 70-year-old woman, her business and all that she has. It also seems that our state Constitution has very little meaning and value any more, as exemplified by this case.
