Your May 26 editorial praised our “thriving farmers market.” I agree. The market is safe, very clean, with no panhandling or homeless people, it has lots of free parking and, as you say, is thriving.
Meanwhile, downtown Olympia is considered not very safe, is not particularly clean, has plenty of pan handling and homeless, makes you pay to park and has many businesses that are not thriving.
Is there a pattern here?
