On May 30, long time Olympian reporter, author, gentleman farmer and overall good guy, John Dodge, retired.
I will miss his Soundings column in the Olympian that kept readers abreast of environmental issues, the latest on his Horsefeather’s farm and profile articles on local citizens.
He added a folksy touch of humanity to an otherwise daily dose of dreary news of war, famine , crime and scandal.
I join thousands of readers in wishing him well and look forward to seeing him on the hiking trail. Good luck and best wishes, John. You have served Olympians well.
Never miss a local story.
