I for one am (and I’m sure I’m not the only one) getting sick and tired of reading the “allegation” that the “Planned Parenthood” videos have been “edited” – as if to imply that what the videos show is not really accurate.
Did the interviewers put the words said by the “Planned Parenthood” representatives in their mouths? The simple fact is, every program on TV is “edited” for time and content purposes.
Likewise, every article in this newspaper is “edited” for length and content – as is every advertisement. Would it be accurate, then, to say that nothing we read in the newspaper, or on television, is true because it has been “edited”?
However, other than their oft repeated denials, to my knowledge “Planned Parenthood” has never felt it necessary to prove these “allegations” to be untrue”. Apparentl y, they don’t need to because the print and broadcast media has never felt it necessary to challenge “Planned Parenthood’s” lies.
Never miss a local story.
