On the front page of The Olympian (Nov. 7) was an article entitled, “Carson admits he lied about West Point.” This article unfairly characterizes the events and quotes from Dr. Carson.
Instead of running a negative article without researching its validity, I expect journalistic integrity of this paper.
Had you done this, you would find that Dr. Carson’s quotes are accurate; he never admitted lying at all.
This is a cheap shot that does not inspire confidence in The Olympian. I expect a front page retraction for publishing an untrue story that was not fact checked.
