I am proud to live in one of the regrettably few states which has a leader who espouses a thoughtful and admirably expressed response as to the controversy concerning Syrian immigrants. This as opposed to those “thought leaders” (and when did this locution come into the parlance?).
One envisions our “thought leaders” surrounded by their tricked-up tramps and bought sycophants, each bearing the fasces as the threat behind their oleaginous persuasions. And of course, it shields them from the rabble that they regard in barely concealed contempt who invariably hold as their lodestars Jesus Christ and the U.S. Constitution, but who seem to have poor knowledge of either, and even less respect.
