Temperatures will fall beginning Saturday and flurries to light snow is expected through the weekend. The winds are expected to pick up Saturday but decrease during the day Sunday. Meanwhile, the avalanche danger has lessened. Current forecasts call for low danger levels below 7,000 feet. The improvement in conditions was due to recent mild temperatures that allowed the snowpack to settle, according to the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center.
