Valerie Elliott will give a presentation on the "Critters of Costa Rica" at Thursday's meeting of the Black Hills Audubon Society.
Last August, Elliott took a two-week trip through the nation’s varied habitats. The tour began and ended in San Jose, with stops in Villa Lapas and Carara National Park, Monteverde, Hacienda Solimar, Arenal and La Selva. Her program will include images of dragonflies and damselflies, but also birds, butterflies, moths, reptiles, amphibians and mammals.
The meeting will be from 7-9 p.m. at the Capitol Museum Coach House, 211 W. 21st St., Olympia. A social hour begins is at 7 p.m., with the program starting at 7:30 p.m.
