A coastal razor clam dig on Saturday -- the last shot at razor clams this season -- got the green light Wednesday afternoon after tests showed the clams are safe to eat.
Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks beaches will open for a morning-only dig. No clamming is allowed after noon. The best digging starts about an hour before low tide. Low tide will be 9:58 a.m.
Clammers must keep the first 15 clams they dig.
All clammers age 15 or older must have an applicable 2008-09 fishing license. Licenses can be bought at http://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov, by calling 1-866-246-9453), or at more than 600 license vendors throughout the state. A list of vendors is available at http://wdfw.wa.gov/lic/vendors/vendors.htm.
