You've seen it here before, but it seems that sport shrimpers will get yet another final day of shrimping on Hood Canal this year.
Shrimpers can drop pots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Shrimp season is usually over very quickly on Hood Canal, but biologists say that light effort on the last final day of the 2008 season left enough shrimp in the water for one more morning.
Shrimpers must have a current Washington fishing license. For more information, call 360-902-2500, press 2 or 1-866-880-5431.
This may really be the final day, so don't hesitate to call in sick -- shrimp fever? -- and get out on the water.
