Score good deals at ski swap fundraisers in coming weeks

Snow is already falling in the Cascades, and that means ski swap season is almost here.

The Olympia Ski Club’s annual Ski Swap & Sale is happening Nov. 14-15.

Tons of new and used equipment will flow in and out of the National Guard Armory, 515 Eastside St., Olympia.

The swap is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15.

People who want to drop off gear for sale can do so from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 13 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 14.

The ski club gets 20 percent of each sale.

The University of Puget Sound’s Mega ski and snowboard swap is set for Nov. 6-7 in the Warner Gym, 1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma.

Sales of discounted ski and snowboard gear run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 6 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 7.

A share of every sale goes toward the University of Puget Sound Ski Team.
