Cantwell, Murray plan teach-in on federal aid in Lacey

Washington's two U.S. senators are heading to Lacey next week to lead a symposium on federal aid. Looks like everyone from small businesses to tribes and nonprofit groups are asked to attend for tips on how to get help.

Here's the notice that came out today:

LACEY, WA – On Tuesday, November 17, the offices of U.S. Senator's Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Patty Murray (D-WA) will be holding a Federal Funding Symposium to discuss federal grants and the appropriations process. Topics that will be covered include: tips on submitting a successful grant application; finding the right funding source for your project; and how to best work with the Washington state Congressional delegation. Non-profit organizations, small businesses, municipalities, tribes, and higher education institutions are all encouraged to attend
