EDITOR'S NOTE: This is the final post from Lacey Deputy Mayor John Darby, a delegate for John McCain at the Republican National Convention. It came in this morning, talking about last night's events.

Every chair on the floor of the convention started the evening with a 200-page book describing the policies of the McCain/Palin ticket. That left Senator McCain free to answer my question, "Why does John McCain want to be President?" WOW!!! What an answer!! "My country saved me, so I will fight for her as long as I draw breath!" Say no more, I've been taken to my leader!
