Fresh off my trip back from Kennewick, it's time to think about winter sports.
Boys and girls basketball, boys swimming, gymnastics, and wrestling kicked off Monday as all winter sports are now underway. Bowling started back on Nov. 2.
We're still not done with fall sports, however. Two football teams in South Sound are still alive and will play quarterfinal games on Saturday.
Chehalis upended Blane, 38-20 on Saturday and will play Archbishop Murphy at 3 p.m. this Saturday at Tumwater District Stadium. It's part of a doubleheader at Tumwater. Cascade Christian will play Montesano at 7 p.m.
