All-State girls basketball games this Saturday

The 2009 Washington All-State girls basketball games will take place this Saturday (June 20) at West Valley High School in Spokane, celebrating the basketball stars from their previous season.

Rainier’s Chelsea Owens and Kristen Schoenherr will be members of the West 1A team; Capital’s Tosha Hollingsworth and Brenna Peterson and Tumwater’s Tayler Weiks will play on the West 3A/2A team. The 1As will tip off at 3:30 p.m. followed by the 3As and 2As and 5:30 p.m. The 2B/1B team will play at 1:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and senior citizens.
