Thurston County sheriff’s officials said today they were no closer to figuring out what happened to a missing Silverdale mother and her son after an autopsy revealed the 8-year-old boy had drowned.
Some of the items that washed up on the shore Sunday belong to a missing Silverdale woman and her 8-year-old son, said Thurston County Sheriff's Lt. Chris Mealy.
A woman walking on the beach with friends Sunday found a small shoe, an inhaler and a half-full bottle of white wine that had washed up about a quarter-mile east of where a missing woman's minivan had been found on the shore that morning.
