The Mason County Parks and Trails Department seeks people to serve on a temporary task force to help the county Parks and Recreation Department develop a business plan.
Task force members won’t serve longer than six months and will attend one to two meetings per month.
The business plan will identify new fundraising strategies, operational efficiencies and long-term sustainability for the parks and trails system, according to a news release.
Applications will be accepted until Nov. 20. Application forms are available at www.co.mason.wa.us or by calling the commissioners office at 360-427-9670, ext. 419, or the Parks Department Office at 360-427-9670, ext. 669. They should be mailed to the Mason County commissioners, 411 N. Fifth St., Shelton, WA 98584.
