Washington’s U.S. senators, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, plan a symposium to explain how to win federal aid at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Lacey Community Center, 420 College St. S.E., Lacey.
They plan to discuss “federal grants and the appropriations process,” an announcement from Cantwell’s office said Tuesday. “Topics that will be covered include: tips on submitting a successful grant application; finding the right funding source for your project; and how to best work with the Washington state Congressional delegation.”
They said they encourage participation by “nonprofit organizations, small businesses, municipalities, tribes, and higher education institutions.”
