City uses new plant for water treatment
Water customers might notice a slight change in the taste of their drinking water today when the Lacey Water Utility begins operation of a new water treatment plant.
The change is because of the mineral content of the deep-water aquifer supplying the new plant. The treatment plant will remove the minerals from drinking water and is expected to be fully operational within a week.
