Public agenda for March 22

Here's what city councils and other governing bodies plan in coming days:

Bucoda

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at Town Hall, 110 Main St. N.

This week's agenda includes:

Ordinance creating a fund for the centennial celebration.

Flood Authority discussion.

DuPont

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in council chambers at City Hall, 303 Barksdale Ave.

This week's agenda includes a resolution granting a cable franchise extension.

Lacey

The City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at City Hall, 420 College St. S.E.

This week's agenda includes adoption of a resolution to approve a revised 2009-14 six-year transportation improvement program.

On TV

Last week's council meeting will be broadcast at noon Tuesday and this week's will be broadcast live, both on TCTV, Channel 3.

Mason County

The Board of Commissioners meets at 9 a.m. the first three Tuesdays of the month and 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month in commission chambers, 411 Fifth St. N., Shelton.

This week's agenda includes approval to create a corrections officer position in the sheriff/care and custody of prisoners budget by transferring $34,800 from the overtime budget line within the existing sheriff's budget.

On TV

This week's meeting will be broadcast live and rebroadcast at 6 p.m. Thursday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday on Hood County Communications' Local Channel 46 in Mason County.

McCleary

The City Council meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, starting with a workshop at 6:30 p.m., at City Hall, 100 S. Third St.

This week's agenda includes a discussion of street banner rules.

Montesano

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at city council chambers on the first floor of City Hall, 112 N. Main St., Montesano.

This week's agenda includes a Sylvia Lake State Park discussion.
