OLYMPIA: Agency plans meeting on future buildings

The Washington State Department of Information Services will hold a public meeting to share information on its future office building and data center at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Columbia Room on the first floor of the Legislative Building, 1143 Capitol Way S.

The capital budget recently approved by the Legislature authorizes the DIS to move ahead with construction of the project, on the Wheeler Lot on the eastern side of the Capitol Campus. Ground-breaking will be in June.
