Findings in Puget Sound Cleanup Draft Report
• Protect existing habitat and prevent further losses.
• Restore the amount and quality of habitat.
• Significantly reduce toxic chemicals in Puget Sound and tributary rivers and streams.
• Significantly reduce pollution from human and animal wastes.
• Manage stormwater runoff to improve water quality.
• Provide stable water supplies for Puget Sound and the surrounding watershed.
• Protect the diverse Puget Sound ecosystem and species.
• Get all Puget Sound residents informed about the problems -- and working for solutions.
• Get the money to restore and maintain a cleaner Puget Sound.
• Use science to make decisions.
• Create a private/public governing system of seven to nine respected leaders who will oversee the long-term health of Puget Sound and hold all involved accountable for results.

• Bellingham: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave.
• Bremerton: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Sons of Norway Viking Ballroom, 1018 18th St.
• Renton: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Carco Theatre, 1717 Maple Valley Hwy.
