New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez reportedly has not been ruled out as a suspect in the execution-style slaying of a semi-pro football player.
Hernandez, 23, has been at the center of the investigation since the body of Odin Lloyd, 27, was found shot in the back of the head Monday in an industrial park near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.
Reports said the home security system at Hernandez’s home, along with his cellphone, were destroyed. Police were at Hernandez’s home again Thursday with another search warrant based on evidence that Hernandez “destroyed his home security system,” an investigator close to the case said.
Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired Monday to scrub Hernandez’s mansion.

Also, a Connecticut man who claims Hernandez shot him after visiting a Miami nightclub in February was convicted of selling narcotics in 2006, according to state records.
Alexander S. Bradley, who is suing Hernandez for more than $100,000 in damages, was sentenced to 18 months in jail.
When Hernandez was at the University of Florida, he was once questioned, along with three other Gators, about a shooting in Gainesville. None of the players was arrested, but detectives questioned Hernandez in the shootings about 2:30 a.m. after Florida lost to Auburn in 2007.
Hernandez declined to discuss the case with reporters back then and was never charged.
However, when Hernandez first enrolled at Florida, he was arrested as a 17-year-old juvenile after an altercation at a local campus hangout known as The Swamp. Hernandez received deferred prosecution.
