Roeland Schaftenaar's 3-pointer sent the game into overtime and Oregon State went on to beat Southern Cal 62-58 Sunday, snapping a 23-game Pacific-10 Conference losing streak.

Schaftenaar tied a career-high with 18 points for the Beavers (6-6, 1-1), who erased a 15-point second-half deficit. Calvin Haynes added 16 points, including four points in overtime.

Taj Gibson led Southern Cal (10-4, 1-1) with 15 points. The Trojans entered the game on a five-game winning streak and had beaten the Beavers seven consecutive times.

Oregon State's conference losing streak dated back to a 73-65 home win against Washington on Feb. 22, 2007. The Beavers are in their first season under coach Craig Robinson, the brother-in-law of President-elect Barack Obama.

Oregon State scored the game's first eight points and led 12-2 on an Omari Johnson basket. The Trojans responded with an 11-0 run and took a 25-20 lead at the break.

The Trojans extended the lead to as many as 15 in the second half before the Beavers staged an unlikely rally that was capped by Schaftenaar's 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds left in regulation.

USC's Keith Wilkinson made a 3-pointer to open the overtime period, but the Trojans didn't score again until Wilkinson's free throw with 4.3 seconds remaining.

No. 12 UCLA 83, Oregon 74

At Eugene, Ore., Darren Collison scored 22 points and Josh Shipp added a season-high 17 as No. 12 UCLA held off Oregon's second-half rally.

Tajuan Porter scored 24 points for the Ducks (6-8, 0-2 Pac-10), including 15 in the second half as Oregon pulled within three points after trailing by 11 at halftime.

But Collison and Shipp helped UCLA (12-2, 2-0) keep its lead.

Portland St. 91, N. Arizona 91 (4 OT)

At Flagstaff, Ariz., Dominic Waters capped a career-high 41-point performance by hitting two free throws with 6.5 seconds remaining in the fourth overtime Sunday to give Portland State a win.

The Vikings (12-4, 3-0 Big Sky) trailed 36-20 at halftime and never led in regulation. They forced overtime when Waters' layup in traffic with 9 seconds left tied the score at 57.

Cameron Jones had 21 points for Northern Arizona (4-10, 1-2) and made two foul shots with 9.4 seconds left to force a second overtime at 64-64.

Zarko Comagic's 3-pointer with 45 seconds remaining tied the score at 75 for the Lumberjacks and forced a third overtime, which ended at 84-84 when Jones hit a driving shot at the buzzer.

Josh Wilson, who had a career-high 25 points, gave Northern Arizona a 91-90 lead on a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in the fourth overtime before Waters made his game-winning free throws.

Portland 71, Seattle 67

At Portland, Robin Smuelders had 22 points and seven rebounds to lead Portland.

Smuelders hit 7-of-8 field-goal attempts and was 8-of-9 from the foul line. Ethan Niedermeyer added four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for the Pilots (9-6).

Austen Powers led Seattle (8-6) with 28 points and Chris Gweth added 23.

E. Washington 87, Sacramento St. 74
