Hawks girls dethroned

YAKIMA - The deficit was simply too much, and the comeback too late for the River Ridge Hawks. After entering the Class 2A girls basketball state tournament with visions of defending their title, the Hawks must suddenly revise their lofty goals after Burlington-Edison handed them a 56-49 loss in the semifinals Friday night at the Yakima SunDome.
