TACOMA - This wasn't how Gaylord Strand scripted it.
Two years ago, Yelm wrestling coach Gaylord Strand figured his team was the implausible underdog going into Mat Classic. Now, after finishing as the runner-up to Enumclaw the past two seasons, Yelm enters this weekend as the favorite, and Strand would be surprised if his team didn't win its first state wrestling title Saturday.

"Project Tornado - Destroying Bad Driving Habits," a project of the Yelm High School Future Farmers of America, is one of 25 projects selected to participate in State Farm Insurance Co.'s 2009-2010 Project Ignition program. Yelm FFA will receive a $2,000 grant from the National Youth Leadership Council.
