New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said he has a plan to settle the holdout situation with All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Ryan said Wednesday at training camp in Courtland, N.Y., that he would cancel practice, get the entire team together and have everyone in the organization meet with Revis and his agents.
“We’ll call off practice,” Ryan said. “We’ll have our whole team there and meet. That way there’s no, ‘he said, she said’ or whatever. Just get the thing done, and let’s work it out that way.”
Revis has missed 11 days since the team reported for training camp. He wants to become the league’s highest-paid cornerback.

EX-PLAYER SUES NFL
Former New Orleans offensive lineman Jamar Nesbit, who lost his starting job while serving a drug suspension, filed suit against the NFL in New York federal court Wednesday, claiming it knew the weight-loss supplement StarCaps contained a banned substance but didn’t tell players.
Nesbit is an 11-year veteran who lost his starting job in 2008 when he chose to serve a four-game suspension after testing positive for bumetanide.
Nesbit says he took StarCaps, which didn’t list bumetanide as an ingredient. He contends that NFL officials knew the banned substance was in StarCaps but did not tell players. He demands unspecified damages.
BROWNS LB INJURED
The Cleveland Browns are awaiting further test results on starting inside linebacker D’Qwell Jackson, who sustained his second chest muscle injury in 10 months.
Jackson, who missed Cleveland’s final 10 games last season with a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery, injured his other chest muscle during practice on Tuesday, team spokesman Neal Gulkis said.
